In 1934, the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics was organized on the basis of the Physics and Mathematics Department. In 2021, the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics was reorganized into the Institute of Physical, Mathematical and Computer Sciences.
The Institute trains competitive specialists in the fields of mathematics, physics and information technologies, capable of successfully solving professional tasks in various spheres of activity.
Educational opportunities of the Institute include two global clusters: scientific and technical (educational tracks: “IT Specialist,” “Mathematician – Developer,” “Manager”) and pedagogical (educational profile “Teacher”).
