The Institute of Foreign Languages provides professionally oriented study of foreign languages (English, German, French, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese) for further work in the fields of teaching and translation, based on advanced educational technologies, unity of theory and practice, and active interaction between lecturers and students. The Institute implements two areas of training for bachelor's and master's degrees and a postgraduate program in two specialties.
The departments are staffed by highly qualified specialists who conduct scientific and practical work on the methods of teaching foreign languages at grade school and at university, problems of text linguistics, written and oral (simultaneous and consecutive) translation, as well as literary translation.
The Institute of Foreign Languages carries out systematic work on employment of its graduates: we have agreements with over 60 educational institutions of secondary and secondary specialized education, with enterprises and organizations in the city of Ryazan and the Ryazan Region.
Students of the Institute of Foreign Languages actively participate in the volunteer movement, as well as in the implementation of the socially significant project "University of the Third Age." The traditional professional holiday “Translator’s Day,” the oratory competition, and cultural festivals are all special brands of the Institute of Foreign Languages.
