The Center coordinates work of volunteer groups of the University, acting as an official representative of the university in volunteer activities. It aims at increasing the number of volunteers and creating new volunteer associations and groups.

The University volunteers participated in major world events, such as the XXII Olympic and IX Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi in 2014, World Festival of Youth and Students in 2017 and 2024, FIFA World Cup in 2018, etc.

Traditionally, the Center Volunteer Development participates in major social actions in the Ryazan Region: “St. George's Ribbon,” “Immortal Regiment,” “Summer without tobacco smoke,” etc. University volunteers organize regional meetings of volunteer groups. During the COVID-19 pandemic period, the Center for volunteer development organized assistance to medical workers and to the population.
