1. It organizes services for users with a university library card, combining individual and group service methods.
2. provides users with basic library services free of charge:
- provides complete information on the composition of the library collection through the catalog system, card indexes, the National Library website and other forms of information,

- provides advisory assistance in searching for and selecting printed works and other resources,

- issues information for temporary use on any media from the library collections,

- receives documents on the interlibrary loan and electronic document management from other libraries,
- performs bibliographic references, conducts reviews, organizes book exhibitions and complex events in order to disclose the contents of the library collections.
3. ensures purchases for the library fund in accordance with the profile of the university and its educational programs.
4. identifies and studies the information needs of students, faculty members, university administration, research staff, postgraduate and doctoral students.
