Cooperation with the Region

The role of the Ryazan State University named for S. A. Yesenin is determined by the fact that the university is the oldest multidisciplinary university. It is also the main supplier of educational resources and personnel for the real sector of the regional economy and social sphere, with a developed supplementary educational system.

The demand for available educational programs is due to the fact that in the territory of the Ryazan Region only this University provides training in directions that are unique for the region: pedagogical education, mathematics, chemistry, physics, biology, biology, ecology, history, innovation, applied physics, international relations, translation and translation studies, international relations, theology, journalism, and others.

The University staff members are involved in developing long-term targeted programs of socio-economic development of the Ryazan Region, in expertise, rating, rating, certification commissions and other advisory bodies in the main strategic directions of the region, and they participate in the work of the Expert Committee of the Ryazan Region.

The RSU named for S.A. Yesenin participates in scientific research and applied development on the basis of cooperation with relevant ministries and enterprises of the real sector of the economy as a recognized leader in providing a large-scale complex of knowledge-intensive intellectual and service services in the socio-economic sphere: consultancy, marketing, expertise of regional programs, analysis and monitoring of political and socio-economic processes in the region; sociological research, forecasting, evaluation and support of investment projects in the region; development of information resources and technologies; designing rating systems and development of regulatory and legal frameworks in various fields of activities; translation services in the implementation of international programs (including those with the Chinese partner, based on the Confucius Institute at the University); social and political advertising; psychological support and correction of socially vulnerable groups, including minors; crisis management in extreme and emergency situations; professional development and certification of personnel in education and of public administration.

Research workers of the RSU named for S.A. Yesenin carry out about 25% of the total amount of research and innovative development implemented in the region.

The University provides significant scientific and methodological support for implementation of the youth state policy in the region, development of strategies for spiritual, moral and patriotic education of the younger generation.

The RSU named for S. A. Yesenin builds up its potential of international scientific and educational cooperation and remains a leader among the regional classical universities of the Central Federal District in this area.
