The work of the department is aimed at training highly qualified specialists in demand on the labor market, possessing practical knowledge, skills and abilities in the field of statistics, accounting, analysis and audit.
The licensed accounting program "1C: Enterprise 8.3" is used to ensure the educational process.
The students of the department, together with their teachers, take an active part in international Olympiads in statistics held by the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, Orenburg State University, in the annual competitions of the FPK "Invest", undergo internships at the audit firm OOO "Pacholi" and adopt the experience of the Federal Association of Accountants-Outsourcers of Russia, within the framework of the signed agreement.
The chairmen of the State Examination Commission for the areas of training implemented at the department are the Head of the Ryazan Region Department of the Central Bank of Russia for the Central Federal District S.V. Kuznetsov, as well as the head of Ryazanstat E.A. Nyunina.
