he Department of Economics and Finance has a long history of formation and development. The name of the department has changed more than once, but its creative mission has remained the same: training highly qualified specialists for various sectors of the country's economy.
In 1998, the department initiated the opening of the specialty "Teacher of Economics," and in 1999 it opened another program, in "National Economy". Over the years, the department has been headed by S.A. Kalashnikov and A.G. Chepik.
To organize an effective practice-oriented educational process, the department actively involves senior staff of such organizations as the Central Bank Branch for the Ryazan Region, “Alfa-Bank” JSC, “Kolt” LLC, “Prime-Stomatology” LLC and others.
